Openness, Trust, and Innovation

The SWIP team believes that protecting Contributors’ intellectual property (IP) rights is the foundation for any open innovation platform. Your solutions are the product of your skills and experience. You deserve to be compensated fairly for creating the winning solution.

The only right you grant during a Challenge is the limited right for Creators to evaluate your IP according to their pre-defined criteria. That right ends with the close of the Challenge. If you did not win the Award, your IP is still yours. If you did win, then you agree to sign it over to the Creator in exchange for the Challenge Award.

During the Challenge you will have the chance to collaborate with other Contributors. You can build on their proposed solutions with ideas of your own and they can do the same with your solutions. We will expect everyone to respect others’ IP, giving credit for others’ work and not claiming it as their own.

By creating a platform that enhances trust through open innovation, we hope that SWIP will unlock a vast reservoir of creative potential.

You can be part of this new journey into shared innovation. Demonstrate your true talents. Meet others like you. And help solve problems that matter. Sign up today and take up your first Challenge!
