On swip.world we are introducing a gamification system in order to engage our users as well as to award our top contributors. It should be fun and rewarding to be active and work on swip.world.

What are these points good for?

The points are good for two reasons.

• We want to share the success of the platform with its top contributors. Once we have 7 million registered users or more, the top 10’000 contributors will receive a percentage of the platform’s revenue and the top 300 will get additional benefits.
• Build your online reputation in areas that matter to you. We will introduce badges you can earn for specific contributions to other members of the community or for the platform. Certain badges will give you special privileges and raise your expert credibility and personal market value.

How do I earn points?

Basically every time you do something for somebody on the platform or contribute to the success of the platform. This may be tips, work, encouragement, promotion of swip or just small encouragements like a positive comment or a like.

We are currently working out the exact rules and regulations for this and developing the backend of the platform to enable it.

What you see below is really just the first version, but will soon be much more elaborated with lots of badges and possibilities to build communities around your badges.

This is the very first version of our point system. We plan to make major improvements. That means we will change the ways you can earn points, and how many points are assigned on which actions.
However, points you have earned will always stay your points.
